Mylot-A Place to Share, Learn and Maybe Earn by Risa Attrell

Today I would like to talk about a place called Mylot. Mylot is quite a bit like Yahoo Answers except for a few major differences.

Just as in Yahoo Answers, Mylot is a website where people come and ask questions and anyone can come and answer. (You must register first before you participate.) But that’s about where the similarities begins and ends.

In my personal experience, I find the people an Mylot are much more pleasant than the people on Yahoo Answers. That is not to say that there aren’t many nice people on YA.

But the difference that will stand out in most people’s minds is that Mylot actually pays a little for your participation.

It’s not a lot of money. Expect pennies per post. But if you enjoy participating in discussions, asking and answering questions, then the little bit of money is an added bonus.

Whether the pay even covers the electric bill for keeping the computer on, is something I’m not sure about. Perhaps that depends on how fast you can type, how long your responses are, and how quickly you can find discussions you’d like to respond to.
